Vancouver 2010 Olympics from Jordan Megahy on Vimeo.
Oh my, where do I begin? This past month has been an amazing time in my life. Met countless people, saw some incredible things, and best of all. I got to film it!
Shot on a Canon 7D at 60fps, then pulled into cinema tools and converted to 24p. Also an IndieFocus20 was used for fast focusing. Here are the lenses:
99% was shot with a Pentax 50mm f1.4 Prime Lens. This was given to me by my grandfather only a couple weeks ago just before he died. The lens itself is about 40 years old. I have a $15 adapter ring from it’s M42 threaded mount to an EOS bayonet mount.
1% was done on the kit lens from Canon, a 28mm-135mm f3.5-f5.6. Used only for a couple zoomed shots.
This video is in loving memory of my Opi. And I hope you enjoy this video as much I enjoyed the Olympics.
