Boy George at Goodwood from Carl on Vimeo.
This is Boy George playing a set at Goodwood Racecourse on Friday 3 June.
Goodwood asked me to produce a ‘cool’ YouTube type video to appeal to a younger audience.
It was shot on a Canon 5D Mark II and 550D/T2i with the 24-105mm and 50mm 1.4.
A lot of the footage is time-lapse because they wanted a transition from the horse race to the dance floor being laid down. Problem being, the sun was setting into the camera so exposure was tricky so I set everything to manual.
There is a bit of Final Cut Pro magic in this especially using blending modes on layers and some exaggerated colours in post but not too much.
The music is Royalty free from www.neosounds.com and is called ‘Ibiza Tribute’
Hope you like it.
