Big surf and huge waves are part of the winter swell that pounds the shores of Sydney beaches. Late July 2011 saw a long stretch of low pressure systems along the South East Coast of Australia generating big surf waves often too large for surfers to attack. Massive waves, swell and big surf are a special event along Sydney’s beaches which draws surfers and interested spectators to the shoreline just to marvel and the power of nature.
